The NDMC had yesterday said 151 water samples collected from various areas were tested jointly by the civic body and the Delhi Jal Board.
"Neither such exercise has been carried out in the presence of concerned DJB officers nor have the results claimed been shared and verified with DJB," said a senior DJB official.
The official said a joint testing of water samples was carried out by DJB and the North Municipal recently in Rohini, Pitampura and Sarswati Vihar between March 21 and April 25 and all samples were found fit for drinking.
The NDMC yesterday said testing done by the corporation's own laboratory showed that 37 out of 420 samples collected from NDMC areas were found to be unfit for consumption.
