Docs remove knife embedded in 60-yr-old woman's body

A 60-year-old woman who had a knife embedded in her body after she was allegedly stabbed by her husband had the object removed today.
Doctors said Logambal is out of danger following the procedure.
Police said her husband had allegedly stabbed her late last night during a heated argument.
Dr Ravichandran, Dean of Mohan Kumaramangalam medical college hospital, where the woman was admitted, said she was operated on and the knife was removed. A small lesion in her lungs was also treated, he said.
