Dog disfigures body of newborn

In a shocking incident, a dog was seen running around with the body of a newborn at Rajinder Nagar here today, police said.
The incident was reported by the security guards of a local leader who chased down the dog and recovered the disfigured body, they said.
Following a complaint by one Gagan Sharma, a case has been registered against unidentified persons under relevant sections of IPC, they said.
Investigation is on in the matter.
