Dr Babu Sebastain takes charge as MGU V-C

: Dr Babu Sebastain, Director of State Institute of Educational Technology, Victers Channel and Executive Director of IT@School, today assumed charge as the Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University.
Dr Sebastain was given a warm reception in the administrative block of the varsity by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Sheena Shukkur, Syndicate members Prof CI Abdul Rahiman, Prof CV Thomas, Prof N. Jayakumar, George Varghese, among others, a press release said.
With 19 years degree level teaching experience at St. Thomas College, Pala and over ten years experience as Director, State Institute of Educational Technology, Dr Babu Sebastain has produced six doctorates over a period of Seventeen years experience as a research guide of MG University.

His two applications for patents development of Dynamic E- Text Book and Audio Visual E-book have been accepted by International patent authority, it said.
He is also the honorary Joint Director of Civil Service Institute Pala which has produced more than 80 civil service officers.
