One Mohd Serbeque Ahmed of Dibrugarh in Assam paid a visit to a woman's house at Namsai on January 28 last. In his absence the woman searched his bag and found the contraband and informed the police leading to his arrest yesterday, IGP (Law and Order) I D Shukla told reporters here.
"The contraband was brought from Dimapur," he said.
Shukla said that around 167 cases of drug peddling were registered from Lohit, Dibang Valley, Lower Dibang Valley and Longding districts last year.
