DSCI partners Pearson VUE for new data privacy exam

Data Security Council of India (DSCI) today said it has partnered global computer-based testing (CBT) firm Pearson VUE for data privacy credentialing programme in India.
The DSCI Certified Privacy Professional (DCPP) certification aims to address the growing need for privacy professionals in the country, a statement said.

Video-on-demand site Muvizz raises $350,000 in angel funding * Online video-on-demand website Muvizz today said it has raised Rs 2.2 crore (USD 350,000) in angel funding to expand the team and scale up presence.

The company will be allocating the raised capital towards enhancing technology infrastructure, hiring talent and increasing the number of luxury labels on its platform, a statement said.

Sterling & Wilson aims to bag 300 MW solar projects in Egypt * With a view to expand its global footprint, solar EPC firm Sterling and Wilson hopes to develop at least 300 MW solar PV projects in Egypt.
The company, which is already executing two solar projects of 50 MW each, aims to construct 300 MW Solar photo-voltaic projects in Egypt under its feed-in-tariff programme for renewable energy initiated by the Egypt government.
