DSPs given charge of SPs in Punjab

Punjab government today placed 48 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs) in the rank of officiating SP and 40 others were given rank and charge of SP.
According to an official spokesman, among those 48 DSPs, who are placed in rank of officiating Superintendents of Police, include Jatinder Singh, Jasbir Singh, Surinder Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Barjinder Pal Singh, Sareen Kumar among others.
The spokesman further said 40 other DSPs who have been granted the rank and charge of Superintendents of Police. The list of these officers includes Harwinder Singh, Jagjit Singh, Manjit Kaur, Manmeet Singh, Iqbal Singh, Gurmeet Kaur, among others.
