Post his jail term, actor Sanjay Dutt will be making his comeback in films with Vidhu Vinod Chopra's "Marco", which will go on floors in November.
The 57-year-old Bollywood star was released from Pune's Yerwada Jail in February after serving his prison term in the 1993 serial blasts case.
"I will start shooting for a film called 'Marco' in November... It's by Vidhu Vinod Chopra (producer). Then I will be doing a film with Mahesh Manjrekar... It's a remake, it's called 'De Dhakka'. Then there are good line up of films," he told reporters here.
"He (Manjrekar) has adapted the film very nicely. It's a family film. It's about how a broken family comes together," he said.
Manjrekar's film is a remake of 2008 superhit Marathi movie "De Dhakka".
Manjrekar and Dutt have earlier collaborated in films like "Vaastav", "Kurukshetra", "Hathyar" and "Rakht".
Reportedly, Dutt will essaying the role of a Goan in "Marco", which will mark the directorial debut of Chopra's sister Shelly.
One of the most awaited films of Dutt is the third part of superhit "Munnabhai" series. Asked about it, Dutt merely said "in 2018."
Asked isn't it too late? Dutt said, "That you all should ask Raju Hirani (director of 'Munnabhai' series and its producer) Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Even I am waiting for 'Munnabhai' (to start)."
Besides all these, a biopic on the "Khalnayak" actor is in the offing starring actor Ranbir Kapoor as Dutt. The film will be helmed by Hirani.
"I am not acting in it (biopic). I think it will start in February," Dutt said.
