Dance music enthusiasts are in for an experience like never-before as Electric Daisy Carnival is all set to make its India debut with over 30 artistes from across the globe scheduled to perform here.
The two-day festival, which kicks off tomorrow at the Budh International Circuit in Greater Noida here, will be a versatile blend of dance music and larger than life productions by internationally acclaimed artistes, who will perform alongside their Indian counterparts.
A wide variety of genres of electronic music will be performed simultaneously on three stages - Kinetic Fields, Circuit Grounds and Neon Garden - at the festival.
37 artistes, including headliners like Alesso, Steve Aoki, and Afrojack will be performing at the festival.
Kinetic Fields, which has the main stage at the festival's previous editions in Mexico, Brazil and the finale in Las Vegas earlier this year, will host some of the most high-octane racks.
The stage production is known for its extraordinary works of laser beams and bass heavy sound systems, complemented with spectacular fireworks.
Delhi-based DJ-producer Sartek's opening act on the stage on Day 1 will be followed by performances by 'Zaeden' and 'Lost Stories'.
Dutch-duo 'Yellow Claw' will bring with them some trap- heavy numbers, followed by 'R3hab'. Swedish DJ Alesso will close the day with their 'progressive house' tracks.
On day two, Shaan and Nucleya will raise the energy levels before Afrojack and Steve Aoki take the stage to wrap up the first-ever EDC India.
The festival is known for its varied line-up of artistes that cater to fans of different genres of music. The Circuit Grounds stage will be hosting the finest of local and international trance DJs with Ferry Corsten and Brillz closing the stage on Day 1 and 2 respectively.
Neon Garden will host some of the distinguished DJs and producers such as Blot!, Praveen Achary, techno artist Arjun Vagale and Pearl among others.
The festival is being organised by Insomniac and OML in collaboration with Budweiser.
