Groundnut oil prices dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to reduced demand from stockists and retailers amid ample arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palmolein slipped owing to lower offtake from retailers.
In the non-edibles section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 950 from Wednesday's level of Rs 960 and refined palmolein edged-down by a Re 1 per 10kg to Rs 457.
Moving to the non-edible section, Castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and Linseedoil all closed unchanged at Rs 3,650 per 100kg, Rs 760 and Rs 880 per 10kg, respectively.
