Edible oils ease further, non-edible oils recoup

Groundnut oil prices declined further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market today due to subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein edged down following lower offtake from retailers.
While, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial recouped owing to renewed demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil remained stable in the absence of any large- scale buying activity.
In edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 865 from Friday's closing level of Rs 870 and refined palmolein also inched down by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 522.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,675 from overnight closing level of Rs 4,625 and castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 965 against Rs 955 yesterday.

Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 750 per 10 kg.
