Edibles and non-edibles gain on good demand

Groundnut oil prices gained further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on good demand from stockist and retailers amid festive offtake.
Elsewhere, refined palmolein also marginally recovered owing to renewed demand from retailers.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also rebounded due to fresh demand from soaps and shippers industries.
While, linseeds oil remained stable in the absence of any major buying activities.
In the edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 880 from Last Saturday's closing level of Rs 870, and refined palmolein inched up to Rs 596 per 10kg.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold moved up by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 4,725 as against Last weekends Rs 4,715 and castoroil commercial edged up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 975 as compared to Rs 973 previously.
Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10 kg.
