Eight-year-old mauled to death by stray dogs

An eight-year-old boy on Saturday was mauled to death by stray dogs in Titakhori village here, police said today.
Ashish, son of a migrant labourer, was returning after buying milk from a nearby farm in the early hours yesterday when he was attacked by a pack of dogs.
His father rushed to the spot on hearing his screams, but by the time he was seriously injured. He succumbed to his injuries after a short while.
"We have handed over the body to his family members after the post-mortem and an investigation is on," police said.
