Farrelly, who will take charge of the new movie with his filmmaking brother Bobby, recently said Channing Tatum and Stone would be perfect for the comedy franchise, reported Daily Star.
Giving his full support to Farrelly's dream casting, he said, "That would be great. That would be awesome," he said.
The 51-year-old funnyman said he and his old friend Jeff Daniels are ready to resume their roles as two dim-witted friends in the follow-up to the cult 1994 hit.
