Entrance exam for professional courses in AP held

Nearly 3 lakh candidates today appeared in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test-2016 (APEAMCET-2016) which was conducted smoothly throughout the State today.
"The APEAMCET 2016 was conducted smoothly without any discrepancies through the State," said Prof V S S Kumar, APEAMCET Chairman and Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University at Kakinada.
As many as 1,89,231 students had registered themselves for the exam in engineering stream and out of them 1,79,462 appeared at 24 places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, said APEAMCET ConvenerSai Baba.
In agriculture and medical streams, 1,03,222 students had registered, of which 98,750 wrote the exam, he added.
