PRO, Kol Dam, Parveen Ranjan Bharti, said this while making it clear that there was only erosion of side slope of plunge pool and the dam power project has not been damaged.
"The left and right bank of plunge pool have got some erosions. The erosion of side slope of plunge pool is an inevitable phenomenon which occurs during initial years of operation and continues till the side slope takes the final shape. This kind of erosion of plunge pool takes place in all hydro electric project having plunge pool," he said.
