Eve-teasing leads to clash between 2 communities, 4 held

A girl was allegedly teased by some youths at Haibatpur village here triggering a clash between two groups belonging to different communities in which four persons were arrested, a police official said today.
The incident occurred yesterday when two youths allegedly passed lewd comments against the victim belonging to different community, in a bus, which led to a clash between two groups in which four persons were injured, Superintendent of Police (City) Sarvankumar said.
The situation was brought under control and security has been tightened in the village by deploying extra police force, he said.
A case has been registered against 13 persons of which four have been arrested.
