Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda has been nominated as the working president of the Jharkhand Archery Association (JAA) here on Tuesday, JAA sources said.
Munda's name was proposed by the Secretary of Dumka Archery Association K N Singh and all the 11 members of the JAA seconded it at an Executive Committee meeting held here.
The name of the former chief minister for the post was proposed following the resignation of JAA president Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice-president (Corporate Services) of Tata Steel, who has become the CEO of AirAsia recently.
At a meeting later, Munda decided to organize Jharkhand State Archery championship in Seraikela-Kharswan district from January 27 to 29, the sources said.
