Two credit confirmation statements of USD 87.46 mn and USD 200 mn were also exchanged under the bank's Buyers' Credit -NEIA (BC-NEIA) programme, Exim Bank said in a statement here.
The facilities have been provided by the bank for supply of vehicles to Cote d'Ivoire.
The LoC agreement was signed between Exim Bank managing director (additional charge), David Rasquinha and Cote d'Ivoire minister (planning & development) Niale KABA.
KPMG, FICCI tie-up for GST implementation awareness campaign
Tax consultancy firm KPMG, along with industry body FICCI is organising multi-city roadshows, to raise awareness and guide industry on effective preparation and implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The full-day roadshows will be especially in context of the central GST Acts and the draft rules, put out in public domain, a joint statement said.
They will help companies understand the key impact areas of GST, both transitional and implementation-specific, address compliance needs, and prepare to tackle other contentious issues, it added.
The sessions are planned across Pune, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Chennai between May 24 and June 15.
Elara Tech launches app 'MakaanView'
Elara Technologies, which owns PropTiger.Com, Housing.Com and Makaan.Com, today launched an innovative augmented reality-based solution 'MakaanView'.
The app allows customers to search for nearby properties by pointing the mobile phone to a preferred direction to instantly get a glimpse of all the properties within a 5 km radius.
It automatically detects if the phone is in horizontal mode and suggests the users to switch to maps view, the firm said in a statement here.
The feature is currently available only on the Android platform and all that the user has to do is to download the Makaan app on their phone and select 'find properties near me' option to be able to use this feature.
IIM-B, TCS iON tie up to facilitate proctored exams
TCS iON, a strategic unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), today announced that Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) will partner with it to facilitate proctored exams for IIMBx MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses) courses.
IIMB will leverage TCS iON's extensive proctored assessment capability to conduct exams across the country, a statement said.
Initially, the exams will be conducted at TCS iON's digital zones in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata with three examination cycles planned during the year.
TCS iON and IIMB also announced the 'Management Educators Hub', an initiative that will host specialised collaboration communities in the discipline of management for educators who have a passion for innovation in learning and teaching.
