According to Chief Development Officer, Avinash Sharma, 134 bags of fertiliser, which were suspected to be fake, were seized from a government shop at New Mandi area yesterday during an inspection raid, held following a complaint from a farmer.
Samples of the seized fertiliser have been sent for testing in a laboratory, he said, adding, reports on it are awaited to initiate action.
