: A farmer consumed pesticide at the Narayanpet district Collectorate Saturday as he was allegedly upset over an error in his land documents, police said.

The 45-year-old farmer has been seeking correction in pattadar (landowner) passbook in which his property was allegedly shown to be less than what he held, the police said.

The problem was not resolved though he met the revenue officials, they said.

He was taken to a hospital and was out of danger, they said.

The district Collector called on him in the hospital, they added.
