Farmer hacked to death by miscreants in Nadia district

A farmer was hacked to death by miscreants in Nadia district today, police said.
Anarul Mondal (48) of Petoyabhanga village was returning home after cultivating his field when miscreants stopped him and hacked him to death, they said.
Mondal was rushed to the local Bethudahari Rural Hospital where doctors declared that he was brought dead.
Police said Mondal's family has lodged a complaint with Nakashipara police station against seven persons, but one one has been arrested till now.
