Father, minor son fall into gorge, died

A man and his minor son were killed when the duo slipped from Gagwal mountain and fell into deep gorge in Ramban district of the Jammu and Kashmir.
Gurmeet Singh, an employees of Baglihar Project in the state, was on visit to a mountainous area along with wife and son in the district last evening, Police said today.
The mishap took place when Gurmeet was trying to save his four-year-old son, who slipped while walking and in an attempt to save him he also slipped from the place and both went into a deep gorge, they said.
Bodies were recovered from the gorge and handed over to the family, they said, adding Gurmeet hailed from Haryana.
