The duo took the bribe from the woman to settle a dowry case filed against her son and herself by her daughter-in-law.
ASI Anju Bakshi, in-charge of the women's desk at Sanyogitaganj Police Station, and Constable Sunita Khatri had demanded Rs 5,000 from one Rekha Bishnoi to settle the case, a Lokayukta officer said.
Bakshi also threatened Bishnoi that if she did not pay the amount she will put her and the son behind bars, he said.
Lokayukta Police have filed a case against the duo under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act.
