Fight over school construction leaves one dead

A man, engaged in a scuffle between two parties over the construction of a school building in Budgam district in Kashmir valley, died due to injuries, police said today.
Ali Mohammad Mir (54), a resident of Wanihama in Beerwah area of the district, suffered injuries during the scuffle and died on the spot, a police spokesman said, adding that Mir was a heart patient.
Police has registered a case and investigation has been started, he said, adding 10 people have been detained in connection with Mir's death.
