India does not have any major 50-over commitment for the better part of the 2016, where they would play a lot of T20's moving upto the World T20 and then would be followed by more than a dozen of Test matches at home under Virat Kohli's leadership.

He then talked about continuing to bat lower down the order, thus partly delaying the retirement question, atleast for the time being.
"I would like to bat at No 4 but the spots are all taken and I can only bat lower down the order. So I will continue to bat in that same order, and will have to adapt my game accordingly. Most of the time, I find it tough to hit the ball straightaway, so I need to bat a few overs.
"I usually have come out to bat in the later overs, and in the first three matches, there wasn't much I could do except hit the ball. But I will continue to bat lower down the order, and it will continue to be my responsibility in the coming ODIs or whatever I will be playing," he signed off.
