Joshi had been admitted to a private hospital in Ludhiana, 110 kilometres from here.
Bhatti's car was driven by his son Jasraj on the day of the accident, which occurred as the car hit a tree near Nakodar town, 30 kilometres from Jalandhar.
Bhatti and Joshi were on their way to Jalandhar on the last day of the 40-day publicity effort as "Power Cut" was to be released on October 27.
Joshi, who owned a public relations firm, and Bhatti, were seated on the rear seat of the car when the accident took place.
The two other occupants of the car, Bhatti's son, Jasraj, and the film's heroine, Surilie Gautam, who were both on the front seat of the car, also sustained injuries, but were saved by the air-bags of the car and the seat belt.
Doctors at the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana had been struggling for over a fortnight to revive Joshi, who sustained multiple internal and external injuries in the accident.
Navnit, a son of a veteran BJP leader from the city, was cremated this evening.
