FIR against bank manager for 'insulting' national flag

An FIR has been registered against a bank manager for allegedly insulting the national flag during an Independence day function at the bank premises, police said today.
Aryavrat Gramin Bank manager R B Singh was booked yesterday after a green flag was found above the tricolour, which he hoisted here on August 15, they said.
According to the police, someone had hoisted a green flag above the national flag on that day and Singh allegedly hoisted the national flag without removing the green flag above it.
