Addressing a public meeting in support of Pratibha Singh, Congress candidate for Mandi Lok Sabha bye-election said that the party had raised the issue of benami land deals during the BJP regime and enquiry is in progress in number of cases and four FIRs would be registered soon in this connection in Solan district.
He said that the BJP government, illegally tapped the phones of about 1,400 persons, including politicians, journalists and even common man, intruding into people's privacy and the enquiry report would be made public soon.
He alleged that while the former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal commercialised politics by patronising 'education mafia' and 'land mafia', his MP son Anurag Thakur made the gentleman game of cricket a "business".
