Fire breaks out in building on Barakhamba Road
"A call was received at 6.55 am today about the fire. Ten firetenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was doused by 7.30 AM," said a senior officer from Delhi Fire Services.
The fire started in the water dispenser but it was controlled within a span of 20 minutes, said a senior police officer.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be short-circuit, he added.
