According to an officer from the Delhi Fire Services, a call was received at 8.18 AM today about a fire in Mundka.
25 fire tenders were rushed to the spot which could douse the flames by 12.35 PM, he said.
Police suspect that the fire started due to sparking in the overhead wires passing through the godown.
The workers, who were stuck inside the godown, were safely evacuated by the firemen and police team, said the officer.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
A forensic team was also called to investigate the cause of fire, after cooling operation was completed by fire department.
