Fire in building leaves three dead, one injured

The fire which broke out in a cloth manufacturing unit on the second floor of the building at Haji Ratan Lane in Metiabruz at 2:10 AM has been doused, police and fire brigade sources said.

The bodies of the three victims were recovered and the injured identified as 17-year-old boy Maidual Islam was admitted to the SSKM hospital, they said.

Fire officials said the cause of the fire would be investigated.
