"The fire broke out when the driver of the truck was getting some portion of his truck welded and the truck laden with LPG cylinders caught fire", ASP Refinery Police Station Kunvar Anupam Singh said.
Five fire tenders were rushed in after the incident was reported in the afternoon.
Since, the cylinders were carrying bare minimum LPG, the fire could be controlled sooner.
"Fire tenders from neighbouring districts were also requisitioned besides the ones available locally," he said.
"The spark from welding machine somehow came into contact of LPG", District Fire Station Officer B P Tripathi said, adding, some quantity of LPG is left over even in used cylinders.
