Forest guard shoots himself in Rajouri

A forest guard allegedly shot himself dead with a rifle at his residence in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
Forest Guard Gulam Hassan fired at himself with a 12-bore rifle in Khiyora area last evening, police said.
His family members rushed him to hospital, but he was declared dead by doctors, they said.
The police has registered a case and started investigation, they said, adding that the body was handed over to his family after postmortem.
