Former minister Sentichuba Ao passes away

Senior Congress leader of Nagaland and a former minister T Sentichuba Ao passed away at Dimapur yesterday, family members said.
He was 80.
A veteran legislator, he was first elected to the state Assembly in 1969 from Yisemyong, now Angetyongpang Assembly constituency on United Front Nagaland ticket and later changed to United Democratic Front.
He was elected six times from the same constituency.
Ao, who had joined the Congress in 1998, was also the former president of the Ao Students Conference, an apex body of Mokokchung district during 1965-67.
