Former MLA, another man shot dead

A former MLA was among two persons who were today shot dead by some unidentified persons in Chiku locality in Jiyanpur area here, police said.
Former SP MLA Sarvesh Singh Seepu (35) was shot dead this morning when he was returning from the police station after pursuing a case, they said.
Seepu and one other died on the spot leading to tension in the area with angry locals thronging the police station demanding immediate arrest of the accused. The locals also pelted stones on the police station.
Heavy police force has been rushed to the spot to control the situation, where large number of people have gathered.

After Amar Singh parted ways with SP, Seepu had joined BSP and had contested last Assembly elections on BSP ticket from Sadar seat here.
