AIFB general secretary Debabrata Biswas said the central committee of the party had come to the conclusion that the 40 -month rule of the government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had pushed the country into a "serious socio-economic and political crisis".
"The time-tested values of democracy, secularism, sovereignty and socialism, as enshrined in the Constitution, are facing serious challenges from the Modi dispensation," an AIFB statement quoted him as saying.
The campaign would be launched on November 8 by observing the day as "Black Day", he added.
According to the statement, the party has called upon "all patriotic and nationalist people to come forward and wage an all-out campaign against the RSS-controlled Modi government to bring back the democratic and secular India".
The Left party lambasted the Centre over the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and alleged that the prices of all the essential commodities had gone up due to the hasty implementation of the new tax regime.
Taking a note of the development works at the India- Bangladesh border region, the party, during its two-day meet held on October 24-25, urged the central and West Bengal governments to set up a comprehensive border area development authority.
At the meet, the party also reiterated its demand to declare Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's birthday (January 23) as "Desh Prem Divas" (Day of Patriotism).
The 18th party Congress of the AIFB, founded by Bose, will be held at Kolkata from December 12-16.
