Four pilgrims fainted when they were waiting in the queue to have darshan of Lord Athivaradar at the Devarajaswamy temple here, police said Thursday.
A medical team near the temple immediately provided treatment.
Officials said they fainted due to dehydration.
The devotees later offered prayers and left.
Four devotees had died last week after darshan of Lord Athivaradar, a deity taken out from under the water once in 40 years, with Chief Minister K Palaniswami informing the State Assembly that they had 'pre-existing' health conditions.
