Four people were seriously injured in a clash between two groups at Pirkheda village in Shamli district, police said today.
They suffered bullet injuries and are being treated at a hospital. The incident took place last night in the Jhinjhana police station limits, Additional Superintendent of Police Shalok Kumar said.
Security has been tightened in the village after incident.
In another incident here, police have arrested eight people for allegedly attacking a family in Purbalyan village.
Police have registered a case against50 people and named 25 in connection with the incident that took place last night, Superintendent of Police, City, Ombir Singh said.
Some people were injured in the attack. The situation is under control and security has been tightened in the village, he said.
