Four killed after being hit by train in Jalandhar

Four persons, including a child, were killed by a speeding train while crossing the railway tracks at Jalandhar station, police said today.
Three persons -- a man, a woman and a child -- died on the spot yesterday while the fourth succumbed to his injuries today, railway police said, adding that none of the bodies has been identified so far.
The incident occurred when they were crossing the railway tracks after a train going towards Amritsar passed the station, but the Chattisgarh Express coming from the other side hit these people, Band Singh, SHO of Jalandhar GRP, said.
