Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly led to the rise in select southern destinations' freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Mysore, Coimbatore and Kochi were up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 68,000, Rs 71,000 and Rs 73,000, respectively.
