Freight rates up on increased cargo movement

Freight rates for ten tonne load for select destinations rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks.
Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Ludhiana were up by Rs 500 each to Rs 20,500,Rs 21,500 and Rs 22,500, respectively.
