Furniture trader shot dead in crowded market

A 40-year-old furniture trader was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants in a crowded market here, police said today.
Abhishek Ranjan Agrawal was closing down his furniture shop at Gandhi Gali in Cantt police station area last evening when the assailants shot at him, they said.
Agrawal, who received two bullets in the head, died on the way to the hospital.
Investigations into the case are in progress, police said.
