Emphasising on the need for public-private partnership for developmental activities in the urban areas, senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari today inaugurated the conference of All India Mayors Council here.
Developmental works can be carried out even with a low budget. If the Mayor is honest but the work is slow, the city would suffer, he said.
Madhya Pradesh Minister for Higher Education Umashankar Gupta and Chairman of All India Mayors Council and Indore Mayor Krishnamurari Moghe were among those present.
About fifty mayors from across the country are participating in the two-day conference.
