National Security Adviser Ajit K Doval would present the cups/trophies to the winners among the officer trainees, include 28 ladies, an official release said.
Aruna Bahuguna, Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) said, "We taught them wide range of aspects - law, investigation, forensic science, forensic medicine, maintenance of public peace and order and also gave field exposure including jungle combat, working of greyhounds".
Parthrajsinh N Gohil, an IPS Officer Trainee, who hails from Gujarat won the Prime Minister's Baton and Home Ministry's Revolver for the Best All-round IPS Probationer.
Gohil, who also won Mehta Cup for Studies, said, "I am fascinated with being Best All-rounder which was never expected. This award winning performance will boost my confidence."
She said that though the training was challenging, an approach to training with open mind and professional support from Academy helped her in doing training successfully.
Young lady Officer Trainee Lt Yeshi Choden, who comes from Bhutan, was quoted as saying in the statement, "I am thrilled for my training here in NPA which gives me lot of courage and taught me many aspects of policing."
"So far we have seen traditional crimes which targets individuals. But now cyber crime has grown in such a way that its impact is heavy on total society. We see how our websites get hacked. I believe common software for policing throughout the country will check this," observed another IPS Officer Trainee Ashutosh, who hails from UP.
Mohamed Faseel from Maldives also trained here in NPA after serving 19 years in his country said, "I am happy for what I have learned to improve my administrative skills as well as forensic investigations".
The graduation parade is the culmination of 46 weeks training of the IPS Officer Trainees in the Academy.
