Gargi, Mushrath upset seeded rivals to set up title clash

Giant-killers, Gargi Pawar and Mushrath Shaik set themselves up for a double crown by reaching the finals of the girls' singles and doubles events at the Icon group-Arun Wakankar memorial ATF Asian U14 Series tennis tournament here today.
Local girl Gargi created the biggest upset by knocking out top- seeded Indonesian girl Riya Uboveja in straight sets while Mushrath edged out sixth seeded Malikaa Marathe to set up a title clash against one another in the girls' singles.
Both the girls also entered the doubles final with their respective partners.
In the boys' singles, third seed Aaryan Zaveri will clash with fourth seed Rudra Kapoor in the final. He is also in line for a double crown tomorrow.
