Gayatri Parivar volunteers to clean Nepal temple, river

Gayatri Parivar has volunteered to clean up Nepal's famous Pashupati Nath temple and Baghmati river, marking its first international campaign.
All World Gayatri Parivar chief Pranav Pandya will lead over 500 volunteers from India on May 18 to Kathmandu to launch the programme to remove non-biodegradable waste and industrial effluents from the river and cleaning of the famed temple's premises, AWGP sources said.
With this Teerth Shuddhi Abhiyan (cleaning campaign), AWGP goes international. It has so far cleaned up ten pilgrimage centres and nine rivers across India, they said.
Prime Minister of Nepal, along with his ministerial colleagues, will attend the launch of the programme in which locals will also participate, they said.

Participants will clean the temple premises and river length of three kms close to it.
Gayatri Pariwar has also undertaken Nirmal Ganga Abhiyan for cleaning the mighty river's entire length of about 2,525 km.
