"Kashmiri Pandits have taken strong exception to the recent statement of Geelani. He should desist from trying to dictate terms to them as if they were his subjects," the chairman of APMCC Vinod Pandit said here today.
He alleged Geelani wants to revert back to 1990s situation by issuing threatening statements against Pandits.
"Such statements and threats were responsible for mass exodus of KPs in 1990, while later these leaders blamed KPs and former Governor Jagmohan Dalmia for the mass migration," he said.
The civil society and the political as well as separatist leadership should denounce such statements which may result in a fear psychosis among Kashmiri Pandits who are living in Kashmir, he said.
