Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
"Under the terms of the agreement, Genpact will help Hillshire Brands transform and run F&A operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, master data, payroll, procurement operations support and inventory control," Genpact said in a statement.
The firm will also support Hillshire Brands' financial team with technical application platform operations, in addition to providing analytics and process re-engineering services to support the overall partnership, it added.
Hillshire Brands, which posted sales of USD 4 billion in 2013, employs over 9,000 people and its portfolio includes brands like Jimmy Dean, Ball Park, Hillshire Farm, State Fair, Sara Lee frozen bakery, Chef Pierre pies, etc.
