After '300', actor Gerard Butler is headed for another epic fantasy in 'Gods of Egypt' where he is in negotiations to take on the role of a villainous god.
Butler is circling the role of Set, the god of the desert, storms, and foreigners while 'Game of Thrones' star Nicolaj Coster-Waldau will play Horus, the son of fallen god Osiris who was killed at the brutal hands of Set, reported Ace Showbiz.
Summit Entertainment's epic fantasy will be directed by Alex Proyas of 'I, Robot' and 'Dark City' fame. The screenplay is from Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
In the ancient Egyptian mythology, Horus sought revenge against Set for killing his father.
Butler will next voice Stoick the Vast in animated sequel 'How to Train Your Dragon 2'.
